Investigation task

Hello and welcome to my blog and in this investigation task i will be an It expert helping Dubai police in the matter of organizing data and i will have to come up with a system that will ensure that the data entered is correct and valid to the allowed permitted data from the correct context and origin and that that data can be accessed easily and quickly  as the  for 3 solutions that i will be posting are:

1
A manual database system
Manual Paper File Documents:

a file organized system that is accessed by opening the file without any type of security and the data is entered manually by hand writing and there is no actual way of checking that the data is wrong except of referring back to the referencing source

2
A computerized database system
A Microsoft Access Table :

Database storage is the container of the physical materialization of a database. It comprises the internal  level in the database architecture. It also contains all the information needed to reconstruct the conceptual level and external level from the internal level when needed. Putting data into permanent storage is generally the responsibility of the database engine a.k.a. "storage engine". Though it has its database residing in several types of storage (e.g., memory and external storage). The database data and the additional needed information, possibly in very large amounts, are coded into bits. Data typically reside in the storage in structures that look completely different from the way the data look in the conceptual and external levels, but in ways that attempt to optimize (the best possible) these levels' reconstruction when needed by users and programs, as well as for computing additional types of needed information from the data (e.g., when querying the database).
Advantages of Recommendations :
1.
a) It would be more organized in an old fashioned way.
Increases the efficacy and intelligence through the company
2.      Simplicity is offered through so anyone would be employed to use a computer.
Registering criminal records would be way easier.
3. In terms of advanced technology Could help other branches internationally to raise the technology rate.
If a success to branches could be then inverted to a business to gain profit and increase maintenance in shops and value added to stocks..
Would show a great level of advancement through the force due to the expo.

Disadvantages of Recommendations
Manually would mean that sometimes it would not register the code that way you would have to type the code in.
New prisoners arrive would cause a problem as that would pressurize the force to register the codes
2Fixing would then mean replacing for mean time and could over heat the device which would then remove all the data registered.
List must be updated frequently as well due to the fact that new prisoners arrive
3.      If employees work, it would be hard for them to use the machines.
Financial issue would be taken as first they must apply a prototype and second parts might be expensive.
People might not recommend the idea and might complain if they would like to ask for prices, and could cause a long line if there aren’t many machines.

Plenary research
A database is a system for storing and taking care of data. A database engine can sort, change or serve the information on the database. The information itself can be stored in many different ways - before digital computers, card files, printed books and other methods were used. Now most data is kept on computer files although paper based databases are still around which can be used for records of absence etc. You can create a database by using the Database wizard. The wizard lets you choose from one of the built-in templates, and customize it to some extent. Then it creates a set of tables, queries, forms, and reports, and also a switchboard for the database. The tables do not have any data in them. Use this method if one of the built-in templates closely matches your requirements. You can also create a database by using MS Access but that would require a little of skill but since in this case it is being used for cashiers this can be modified by maintenance as they are not that cheap in the UAE. Databases will organize all data needed and store it where it can only be added unless erased, they will validate the data, which means it, will increase they accuracy of data. In this case, Queries would be easier to identify for example price checks etc. Although creating the database is hard, using it isn’t in-fact will increase the efficiency and promote cashiers to a whole new level.

Global Contexts

This module fully redirects to a global context, which is allocated to Scientific and Technical innovation. That is because it shows a great advance and level of appreciation towards our ideas, which make us creative, and leads up to being innovative and Unit Of Interaction asks us to hint our future using the following global contexts although this module asks to innovate our minds and think outside the box in order to show a technological advance in our today and tomorrows!

What is Essential for the company’s database?
-Prisoner  ID.
-Name of Prisoner
-Release and lock date.
charges e.g ( ATTEMPTED MURDER) $.
- Cell location

What is Desirable for the company’s database?
-Prisoner arrival.
-Classification of Prisoner
-Serial code.
-Assentation between other prisoners.

Criteria B

Grant Chart

Planning of Table:

Table Specification:

4X4
Create Using Access
  • Number Of Tables: 2
  • Number Of Records: 4 each table
  • Number Of Fields: 4 Each Table
  • Number Of Key Fields: ! Key Field Each Table
  • Contents Of Table 1:
-Prisoner arrival.
-Classification of Prisoner
-Serial code.
-Assentation between other prisoners.

  • Context Of Table 2 :

-Prisoner  ID.
-Name of Prisoner
-Release and lock date.
charges e.g ( ATTEMPTED MURDER) $.
- Cell location

Criteria C :

I have Improved My Grant Chart And Created Another Options Table Incase The Options Listed Are Inapropeate

  1. You need to explain what is the current system and what they are facing and justify the need for a solution. Construct a detailed research plan which identify the primary and secondary research needed to develop a solution to the problem.
Also analyse a range of exisiting products that inspire a solution to the problem in detail. Develop a detailed design brief and design specification which summarizes the analysis of the relevant research.
